What started in 1979 as a small whitewater rafting company in northern Idaho has grown into an award-winning worldwide adventure travel company. Today ROW Adventures offers guided whitewater rafting, canoeing, hiking, biking, stand-up paddle board instruction, kayaking and fly fishing adventures in Idaho, Montana, Washington, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming and Oregon; sea kayaking in Baja California and British Columbia; diverse adventure tours around the world like our hallmark Galapagos Unbound tours; and owns and operates the River Dance Lodge, an outdoor adventure resort in North Central Idaho. General Information About Working for ROW
ROW accepts applications for adventure field staff positions year round. The bulk of seasonal hiring is usually completed by late March. All positions offer competitive pay, housing or camping at all outposts, free or reduced trips for friends and family, 401(k) and a Flexible Spending Account. Employees also have opportunities to experience an unmatched variety of rivers in the region, including the Moyie, St. Joe, Lochsa, Selway, Clark Fork, Spokane, Salmon River Canyons, Snake River through Hells Canyon, the Middle Fork of the Salmon, Missouri, Jarbidge/Bruneau, Owyhee, and Rogue.
Our adventure season begins in May and runs into late September. The bulk of the season occurs mid June to late August.
ROW’s administrative offices are located in Coeur d’Alene, ID. With the exception of local Coeur d’Alene activities, all our trips base out of dispersed locations. Our main whitewater rafting warehouse is located in Clarkston, WA. We also maintain a warehouse in Salmon, ID and facilities at the River Dance Lodge in Syringa, ID. During the season, we also base trips out of outposts in Moyie Springs, ID, Spokane, WA, Superior, MT, Great Falls, MT, and Merlin, OR. Our National Parks trips work remotely in those areas.

Hiring for summer seasonal positions is a rolling process that takes place primarily during January, February and March. Hiring for open positions continues all spring until positions are filled.
